LAHORE: The flight schedules remained affected for the second day due to dense fog in parts of Punjab, Geo News reported.
Sources said that Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport had been closed for the national and international flights due to zero visibility.
The sources said that the airport would remain closed until the visibility improved. The airport was also shut after midnight and reopened after the visibility improved
on Monday.
In Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan and adjoining areas, the schedule of PIA flights departures and arrivals remained affected.
The Motorway Police closed Motorway from Lahore to Pindi Bhatian and advised the motorists to refrain from driving due to zero visibility.
The police said drivers must switch on fog lights while traveling in an emergeny.
