Voting on no-trust motion against Bhootani to be held today

QUETTA: The voting on a no-trust motion against Balochistan Assembly Speaker Aslam Bhootani would be held today (Wednesday), Geo News reported.
The motion was moved on December 19 against the speaker after he had refused to chair any session of the house until the status of the provincial government was not clear following a Supreme Court ruling.

He had said that according to the Supreme Court orders the government was unconstitutional and he could not preside over session of the assembly.
On Monday, he threatened to move court against the voting on the no-trust motion against him. He said the Constitution was violated while presenting the no-confidence resolution.
