Mansoor’s death mystery remains unresolved


DALLAS: The mystery behind Pakistani American prominent leader Mr. Mansoor Shah is still unresolved after the detailed postmortem and criminal investigation reports.
After detailed examination of all of the facts doctors could not come to conclusion. Three months of detailed examination and criminal investigation could not uncover facts behind mystery of Mr. Mansoor Shah's death.
According to detail the mysterious circumstances surrounding the death of Pakistani American community leader
Mr. Mansoor Shah who was found dead in his Mercedes in a bank parking lot in Arlington 3 months ago, could not be resolved even after detailed investigations.
According to recently released postmortem report the case is still inconclusive. The initial investigation findings and even police report had declared the cause of death as suicide; however the new detailed report after three months of investigation classifies the reason of death as "undetermined" instead of suicide.
The ten page report signed by Chief Medical examiner Tarrant County, Dr. Nizam Pirwani and Dr. Richard C, Fries explains as the examination of late Mansoor Shah dead body, blood and urine sample and other physical and chemical specimen were collected and other law enforcement and investigative agencies were contacted to discover the reasons for late Mansoor Shah's death.
However, they could not find any signs of depression or a suicide. The report doctor's states that comments "Criminal investigation conducted by the law enforcement agency, death scene investigation, autopsy finding as well as postmortem forensic laboratory investigation is consistent with a self inflicted gunshot wound.
However, the investigation has failed to yield evidence of depression, threatened suicide, or prior attempted suicide. Additionally, this investigation has failed to provide any reasonable explanation as to why the decedent may have wanted to take his own life.
Furthermore, this investigation as dialed to document any catastrophic events in the life of the descended includes financial loss, illness, social/mental issues or drug/alcohol problems. On the other hand, there is no evidence to support that the death was due to foul play. Hence, the manner of the death is designated as undetermined."
The report remains inconclusive even after thorough investigation. No new evidence was seen to alter the initial findings. Also the report states that Mansoor Shah Death was a result of bullet wound from a 45 caliber semi-automatic handgun which was found in his right hand.
One bullet wounds on his jaw and one his temple were found. Investigators could not find bullet holes, however they could not find any evidence on his wrist or shoulder indicating any resistance or scuffle. The examination of stomach and blood test did not reveal any use of drug. The initial police report had concluded it to be a suicide case where there were inconsistencies in the FIR report as it shows only one bullet hole in the body. The postmortem report proved it to be wrong and people started talking on possibilities of homicide. Mansoor Shah's family even hired private detectives and forensic experts were hired.
Mansoor Shah was an activist not only in Pakistani but also in an Indian,Sikh community and climbed the ladder of success in short time. Late Mansoor Shah has left his mother and father two brothers wife and four children behind him.
