KARACHI: The funeral prayers for two police officers killed in a blast in Landhi on Thursday, were held at Garden Police Headquarters overnight, Geo News reported.
Those who attended the funerals were relatives of the deceased, Sindh IG Fayaz Leghari, Additional IG Iqbal Mehmud, MPAs, and officers from all the zones.
Body of the DSP Kamal Khan Mangan was sent to his native
town Larkana while the ASI Akbar Hussain’s body was dispatched to Bonair in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Sindh IG announced that two sons of the DSP would be provided jobs in police department while the families of victims would receive compensation of Rs2 million each.
He said that nine other cops who got injured in the blast would be treated at PNS Shifa Hospita
