LAHORE/PESHAWAR: The day dawned with Pakistan army firing 21-gun salute to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be Upon Him) in Lahore and Peshawar, Geo News reported Friday.
Army Jawans were seen firing cannons and chanting Allah-o-Akbar at Lahore’s Fortress Stadium. The same scenes were witnessed at Peshawar’s Jinnah
Park as faithful woke up to mark the birthday of Prophet (PBUM) after Fajar prayer.
The government has announced a public holiday in the country on account of the Eid-e-Miladun Nabi(PBUH).
Processions would be taken out in almost all the cities of the country whereas Milad Mehfils are also organized to celebrate the day.
