KARACHI: Police conducted raids in Quaidabad area of the metropolis, arresting two alleged killers associated with '22 Khandaan' group.
Talking to Geo news, the police official claimed that the accused were involved in over 100 incidents of killings, extortion and dacoity. The weapons are also recovered from the possession of the alleged criminals, the official added.
He said that the accused are identified as Shehzad alias Nanga and Muhammad Wajid and both have backing of political parties.
The official claimed that both the criminals were also involved in supplying weapons to political parties and dozens of cases were already reported against them in Sharafi Goth, Quaidabad, Landhi and other adjoining police stations.
Meanwhile, rangers also carried out raids in various houses located in Khokhrapar area of the city, detaining various suspects involved in gang wars and others affiliated with banned outfit.
