LAHORE: Six people have died from the Dengue virus in Lahore, Thursday. Across Punjab, 1,958 Dengue cases have been reported with 1,772 cases reported in Lahore alone. Emergency has been declared in hospitals of Lahore.
According to the Punjab health department, a separate unit has been made in hospitals for treatment of dengue patients. Meanwhile Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif said all efforts are being made to deal with the Dengue virus. He added that health department officials and town emergency committees have been directed to fumigate their respective areas.
