KARACHI: A delegation of MQM led by Governor Sindh called on President Asif Ali Zardari in Bilawal House here on Tuesday night and discussed issues between the coalition partners.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and resulted in a broad understanding on important issues of concern.
A press conference will be held shortly by Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Governor Sindh and Chief Minister Sindh in the Governor House about the understanding reached.
The meeting was attended by Interior Minister, Chief Minister Sindh and Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar.
MQM delegation included Governor Ishratul Ibad, Farooq Sattar, Sagheer Ahmad, Raza Haroon, Waseem Aftab, Babar Ghouri, Adil Siddiqui and Sardar Ahmad.
The President also talked with Altaf Hussain on phone.
