ORDOS: Arch-rivals Pakistan and India tied the semi-final match of the Asian Champions hockey tournament on Friday while Pakistan succeeded to gain its place in the finals,
Both teams displayed aggressive attitude since the beginning of the match which was later tied 2-2.
Pakistan’s Waqas Sharif made the first goal in the second half of the tense match followed by Mohammad Irfan’s penalty corner.
India defended its position by attacking in the last twenty minutes and managed to make two goals to tie the match.
However, based upon the points after the match was drawn, Pakistan successfully qualified for the finals.
