KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has cancelled the protest rally, Geo News reported. Wasay Jalil, a member of the MQM's Coordination Committee said due to 'day of mourning' we have cancelled the protest rally.Yesterday, MQM announced to hold a peaceful demonstration today to protest against the continuing bloodbath in Karachi. MPAs of the party were to stage a march from the Karachi Press Club to the Chief Minister's House.
According to the statement, the protest was planned against the fast deteriorating situation of Karachi, particularly the attacks by armed terrorists on localities in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town, Gulfamabad and other areas of the city
