LAHORE: Cases of dengue fever are continuously rising in Punjab especially in Lahore, health sources told APP on Saturday.
Residents of different localities of the city including Temple Road and Ghousia Colony have denied a Punjab government claimthat a fumigation drive was underway.
According to doctors, prevention from dengue fever is only possible by fumigation and the number of patients will increase if dengue mosquitoes are not killed.
However, a spokesman of the Punjab government said that free diagnostic and treatment for dengue fever was available in all public sector hospitals.
Meanwhile, DCO Lahore Aahid Cheema has ordered to launch a fumigation campaign in all the towns of the city.
