PM Gilani telephones Altaf Husain

        LONDON: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani has telephoned the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain, Geo News reported Thursday.

During the conversation the MQM Chief urged the Prime Minister to make his government go after terrorists with full force, Geo News reported Thursday.

He said people in private passenger busses were being identified before being picked up and killed.

The Prime Minister told Altaf Hussain that some elements were against MQM-PPP going hand-in-hand and vowed that 'this conspiracy would not be allowed to succeed'.

He assured the MQM Chief that the government would play its vigorous role towards protection of life and property of the people
