LAHORE: A twelve-year-old girl, who fell into a manhole, died in a local hospital on late Tuesday night, Geo News reported.The heirs of the ill-fated girl have demanded of the authorities concerned to take action against WASA officials over negligence in covering the manhole that took life of their beloved one.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of the incident and sought report within 24 hours from the officials concerned.
On the other hand, MD WASA has suspended three officials of the respective area and ordered investigation.
