LAHORE: More dengue patients have reported in Punjab during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of affected people to 110, Geo News reported.
Two patients who have contracted the dengue virus have been reported in Faisalabad while one such patient surfaced in Muzaffargarrh.
One patient suffering from dengue has been confirmed in General Hospital and another in Institute of Public Health while four people with dengue virus have been reported in private hospitals.
All the EDOs have been directed to oversee the measures being taken to control the spread of virus. No negligence in this regard would be tolerated, said a directive issued by the provincial Health Department.
